On the occasion of the diamond wedding anniversary of maria and michael lunz from leesten, their six children and their families, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren congratulated them. The happy couple met in the dance hall in lohndorf. The marriage took place in july 1959.
Michael had to take over the parental farm at a young age as the youngest son. A lot of work as a farmer, locksmith and finally as a letter carrier pragmatized the life of both of them. Maria provided for the rough household with six children and the small post office in the house. With much joy michael took over the voluntary service of the small chapel in leesten, to decorate it with beautiful flowers, is particularly close to his heart. Dancing and traveling in convivial company have always been the couple’s hobbies.
Deputy district administrator johann pfister and mayor wolfgang desel offered their congratulations. A festive service with pastor reinsch and musically framed by the brass music of their children and grandchildren and a stand made the festival an unforgettable experience.
